STEPHANIE LANGELAAR graduated with her BSN from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado Summa Cum Laude, and received her MSN in Nurse Anesthesia from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, an advanced practice nursing specialty. She has significant experience providing anesthesia for all types of patients and surgical procedures. Her practice was concentrated in academic tertiary medical centers, but she also has significant experience in level one trauma centers, community hospitals and surgery centers.
Her nursing background includes experience in the cardiothoracic surgical and general surgical ICU at an academic tertiary medical center.
Ms. Langelaar also holds a paralegal certificate and has practiced as a medical – legal consultant since 2014, specializing in the defense of medically complex cases. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
