Mr. Galloway has been defending complex civil litigation cases for more than 35 years.  His civil trial experience includes jury trials in 14 different counties throughout Northern and Central California.  He has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal courts, defending physicians, medical centers, miscellaneous healthcare providers, and municipalities.  

His trial experience began prosecuting criminal trials as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, having tried more than 30 felony cases prior to entering the civil arena.  He is a founding partner of the firm of Galloway, Lucchese, Everson & Picchi, one of the preeminent medical malpractice defense firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.  

Mr. Galloway is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.  He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), holding an Advocate rank.  He has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America continuously since 1991 and Northern California Super Lawyers continuously since 1994.  

By invitation, Mr. Galloway is a fellow in the International Society of Barristers, having previously been elected to the Board of Governors of that organization.  Additionally, he has been a member of the California Medical Legal Committee since 1983. He has served as past secretary/treasurer and president of that organization, composed of 35 attorneys in Northern California and 35 in Southern California specializing in medical malpractice defense.  

Mr. Galloway has been asked to participate on lecture  panels for attorneys, insurance representatives, and physician groups.  Additionally, he has contributed to publications dealing with miscellaneous medical malpractice issues.  

Mr. Galloway received his B.A. from the University of San Francisco.  He received his law degree in 1970 from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he was on Law Review.
