Alexander D. Promm, Esq.

Alexander (Alex) Promm joined the Firm in 2021 as an Attorney after working at several large civil litigation defense firms. While originally from Ontario, Mr. Promm has spent much of his life in the Bay Area. Mr. Promm completed his undergraduate education at San Francisco State University, earning a B.A. in Social Political Philosophy. He earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2017.

 

Mr. Promm’s practice currently focuses on medical and legal malpractice litigation defense but he also has significant experience in employment, premises liability, personal injury, business disputes, construction defect, and real estate/breach of habitability cases. Mr. Promm has dealt with litigation ranging from small simple transactional litigations to complex cases worth millions of dollars. His philosophy is simple: everyone deserves a defense and an attorney who is willing to listen to their goals and fight to achieve these goals, whether it be personal or business. He also has experience in counseling and advising clients of rights and obligations under federal and state laws and formational issues for businesses. Mr. Promm is admitted to practice in all California State Courts as well as the United States District Courts of California and has been recognized for the last two years as one of Northern California’s Rising Stars by Super Lawyers.

 

Clients appreciate the open and honest communication of Mr. Promm even when the subject matter is difficult or sensitive. Having spent his entire career in civil defense and having dealt with a broad range of complex issues, Mr. Promm brings a steady and considered approach to his interactions with his clients while attacking their problems from multiple directions.

 

Mr. Promm has also worked in the technology sector and strongly believes in the advancement and integration of technology to better serve clients. In what spare time he has, Mr. Promm enjoys painting, woodworking, golf, his pets, and movies. He also has a strong interest in community activism and politics.
